Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query typed into an embedded search feature is sent to the third-party provider operating that feature. Putnam County Warrant Records does not receive or retain the full search terms unless the provider separately discloses that practice. Review the provider's own policy before submitting a name or other detail.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a communication channel is used, we may receive the information voluntarily supplied, such as an email address and message. Do not send Social Security numbers, account details, confidential court papers, or sensitive facts about a warrant. We cannot perform an official check or act on a case.
Data We Gather Automatically
Servers and ordinary web tools may record an IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, and access time. This technical information supports operation, security, performance measurement, and troubleshooting. It is not collected to create a Putnam County warrant profile about a visitor.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies or similar technologies may remember preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising or embedded services. Browser settings can block or remove cookies, although some features may then work differently. Third parties control their own cookies and related disclosures.
What We Do With This Data
Information may be used to operate and secure the service, understand aggregate use, correct technical problems, respond to a direct message, enforce applicable terms, and meet legal duties. We do not use visitor data to decide whether a person has a warrant, and we do not sell a compiled Putnam County warrant file.
No Warrant Data on File
Putnam County Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant records. Content identifies official routes such as Indiana MyCase, the Putnam Circuit Court Clerk, assigned courts, and the Sheriff's Department. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on content pages may be operated by independent providers. A provider receives information submitted to its tool and applies its own privacy policy, retention practice, terms, and fees. We may receive referral compensation from a paid signup, but do not control the provider's results. Such results are not official Indiana or Putnam County warrant confirmation.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Indiana courts, Putnam County offices, and other outside services. Each destination controls its own content, security, accessibility, and privacy practices. Leaving this service means the destination's policies govern information supplied there. A link does not transfer control of that site to us.
Who Might See Your Data
Information may be available to vendors that support hosting, analytics, security, advertising, or communications, subject to their roles and policies. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a lawful business transfer. We do not disclose visitor data to the Putnam Circuit Court Clerk or Sheriff's Department merely because someone reads a warrant page.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed secure. Visitors should limit what they submit and use official Putnam County channels for sensitive court or surrender questions.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal information from minors. If information from a minor is identified, reasonable steps may be taken to remove it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on applicable law and where a visitor lives, a person may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or limits on certain personal data, subject to verification and legal exceptions. Browser and device controls may also limit cookies or advertising identifiers.
Indiana's Access to Public Records Act, Indiana Code 5-14-3, and the Rules on Access to Court Records, including Administrative Rule 9, govern access to government and court records. They do not create a general privacy right over data held by this private service. Requests for official Putnam court records belong with the Clerk or issuing agency.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as operations, providers, or legal duties change. A new effective date will identify the current version. Continued use after an update is governed by the revised policy.
